These Terms of Service govern your use of all hosting, virtualization, and related services provided by ProwHost. By signing up for an account or using any ProwHost service, you accept the terms set out below.
ProwHost reserves the right to amend these policies and pricing without prior notification.
1.Examples of Unacceptable Content or Links
Prohibited content includes pirated software, hacker programs or archives, Warez sites, and mailing scripts (unless otherwise stated).
2.Traffic Usage
Data ingress is complimentary; egress incurs charges at approximately $0.29 per GB, depending on region. Excess traffic is billed at the unit price and charged to your defined payment method.
Overages are invoiced monthly, and customers remain liable for payment.
3.Content Not Allowed to Be Hosted
The following content categories are prohibited on ProwHost services:
- Phishing
- Exploits
- Crypto applications
- Hit applications
- Mail servers
- File servers
- Spamming
- Torrent
- Adult content
- Upload & download services
- Game servers
- TeamSpeak
4.Server Abuse
Any attempt to harm ProwHost servers or other customers is strictly prohibited. Violators face account cancellation without refund eligibility.
5.Refusal of Service
ProwHost reserves the discretionary right to refuse, cancel, or suspend service at our sole discretion.
6.Orders
Orders placed through proxy, VPN, anonymizer, or remote server services are denied. All orders undergo fraud verification before activation.
7.Prohibited Persons (Countries, Entities, and Individuals)
ProwHost services cannot be used in support of violations of U.S. Trade Laws. Users may not be:
- Individuals or entities located in OFAC-sanctioned territories;
- Persons or entities designated as blocked under applicable sanctions programs;
- Engaged in restricted weapons-related activities.
8.Billing
Monthly billing occurs automatically via credit card or invoice. Payment due dates are specified on each invoice.
If we do not receive a response within 24 hours, the account, and all accounts under that account plan, will be suspended.
9.Service Fees
Setup fees apply to certain services. Upon termination, clients remain responsible for all outstanding fees.
The client will be responsible for service fees for the entire month, and such fees will not be pro-rated or refunded.
10.Backup
ProwHost performs weekly and monthly backups. Virtual servers receive complete system backups; VPS-based single-file backup is not available. Restoration occurs only in the event of a complete system failure.
Customers are expected to maintain their own independent backups.
11.Refund Policy
Shared Hosting includes a 7-day return period.
When you submit a cancellation request, the fee for the days you used will be deducted and the remaining fee will be added to your account as credit.
Virtual server services are offered with no refund option.
12.Account Deactivations
Suspended accounts are reactivated without additional fees upon payment of the renewal service fees.
13.Limitation of Liability
ProwHost bears no responsibility for any claimed damages — including incidental and consequential damages — which may arise from ProwHost servers going off-line or being unavailable. Liability is limited to immediate service termination.
14.Violations and Abuse Notifications
Abuse reports should be sent to [email protected]. Clients receive a 12-hour period to respond to the notification and resolve the issue. Non-response triggers service suspension.
Reactivation following 36-hour non-compliance incurs a re-activation fee equivalent to 20% of the service's monthly cost.
15.Disclaimer
ProwHost disclaims liability for system downtime, crashes, or data loss, and cannot be held responsible for lost profits.
We reserve the right to remove any account, without advance notice, for any reason without restitution.
16.Account Activation
By activating an account, customers accept all ProwHost policies. If you sign up for an account and fail to comply with these terms, no refunds will be given.
17.Uptime Guarantee
ProwHost guarantees 99% uptime for HTTP, FTP, POP, IMAP, and SMTP services. Excessive downtime results in pro-rated refunds for the affected calendar months.
