Which location should I pick for my broker?

Match the datacenter to where your broker's execution server lives. IC Markets, Pepperstone, FXCM, and OANDA execute primarily out of the US East corridor — pick New York. FxPro, XM, and Tickmill execute out of the UK corridor — pick London. Exness has presence in both. If unsure, contact support and we'll help you pick the closest location to your broker's MT4/MT5 server.

Is MT4 / MT5 really pre-installed?

Yes. The Forex VDS Windows image ships with MT4, MT5, .NET 4.8, common runtime libraries, and the registry tuned for low-latency trading. After first boot you log in via RDP and open the terminal — no installer needed. cTrader and custom platforms are available on request before provisioning.

How many EAs can I run on one VDS?

A typical MT4 terminal with 1 EA consumes about 200–400 MB of RAM and a small fraction of a vCPU when idle. The Starter plan comfortably handles 1–2 terminals; Standard fits 5–10 EAs; Premium is sized for prop firm operators running 20+ EAs in parallel. Heavy strategy testing or tick-by-tick optimization needs more headroom — pick Pro or Premium.

Can I install custom EAs and indicators?

Yes. You have full Administrator access to Windows Server. Install any MQL4 / MQL5 EA, indicator, or third-party software you need. We don't restrict what runs on your VDS.

Do you support Linux for forex bots?

The Forex VDS image is Windows-only because most retail trading platforms are Windows-native. If you're running a Linux-based bot (zenbot, freqtrade, custom Python algos), our standard VPS or VDS lines are a better fit.

What is your uptime guarantee?

Can I send email from a Forex VDS?

Outbound SMTP is not permitted — ports 25, 465, 137, 138, and 139 are blocked. EA alert emails should be sent via your broker's notification system or a transactional email provider (Mailgun, SendGrid, Postmark, Amazon SES).
